THE 24TH ANNUAL MAPIC AWARDS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The winners of the 2019 MAPIC Awards were revealed at the 24th annual MAPIC Awards ceremony.
Organised by Reed MIDEM, MAPIC – the International Retail Property Market – was held in Cannes from 13 to 15 November.
Honouring the very best of the retail industry, the 24rd edition of the MAPIC Awards celebrated the most outstanding retailers and retail real estate projects during a glitty gala dinner held on November 14, 2019, in Cannes , attended by 300 of the most influential professionals of the retail industry.
The winners were selected this year in Cannes combining delegates’ votes on-site (30%) and the jury’s own votes (70%).

Mapic: Torino Outlet Village e Niu Flagship Italia sul podio
Due realtà italiane sono salite sul podio dei Mapic Awards 2019: dopo il primo anno di attività con oltre 2 milioni di visitatori,il Torino Outlet Village, progetto sviluppato da Arcus Real Estate, società della galassia Percassi, si è aggiudicato il premio Best Outlet Centre, mentre Niu Flagship Italia, azienda che opera nelle smart urban mobility solution, ha trionfato per la Best Retail Global Expansion.
A ritirare il 24esimo Mapic Award, il 14 novembre durante la cena di gala di chiusura del salone all’Hotel Martinez di Cannes, sono stati i rappresentanti delle realtà vincitrici: in particolare, per Torino Outlet Village si è presentato il general manager di Arcus Real Estate, Victor Busser Casas. Una giuria di esperti del settore ha selezionato i premiati, sommando i voti di tutti gli iscritti alla fiera, che hanno pesato per il 30% sul risultato finale.
Tra le altre categorie in gara, la rosa dei vincitori comprende: Boxpark Wembley (Uk), Nous Épiceries anti-gaspi (Francia), Microsoft (Uk), Arkose (Francia), Wishibam For Business (Francia), Iconsiam (Thailandia), City Plaza (Germania) Val Saint Lambert Free Time Park (Belgio).
Mapic è l’evento internazionale di Cannes dedicato all’immobiliare retail, dove a ogni edizione i maggiori player del segmento si riuniscono per individuare le migliori opportunità di sviluppo e i nuovi trend, oltre ad ampliare il networking, grazie ai numerosi operatori provenienti da oltre 80 Paesi: quest’anno è stato raggiunto il tetto degli 8.500 partecipanti.
